Life deserves to be lived in full color.

When conflict, doubt, fear, anxiety, shame or anger take up much of our daily life, it's difficult to see the beauty and color that is all around us. Counseling and psychotherapy are ways of sorting through the struggle and bringing the color back into our lives. It is often a life changing step.

I was drawn to this field because of personal experience. In my early twenties, I abruptly developed severe panic attacks. At that time, this experience altered my life immeasurably. I felt lucky and relieved to find a knowledgeable therapist who helped me regain my footing. Today, I specialize in helping others who experience panic attacks, as well as generalized anxiety, depression and a variety of life transition challenges. I understand the fear and immobility that can arise when our thoughts and feelings begin to overwhelm us.

If you're looking for assistance in a struggle that you're facing, perhaps I can be of help. I work with individual adults and am welcoming to any race, culture, sexual orientation and gender expression. My website will give you a basic understanding about my style and approach to psychotherapy and counseling.

I offer a 30 minute complimentary "get to know you" session so that we can meet each other and determine whether working together feels like a good fit. If you're interested in meeting and seeing my Ravenswood/Andersonville office, please leave me a message at 847-422-3565 and I'll get in touch with you within 24 hours to set up a time to meet. You can also send me an email from the Contact page.

I look forward to meeting you!
